The cabin is located about 15-20 miles from Salida or Buena Vista, Colorado, providing a perfect home base for all of your Colorado adventures! You are located in San Isabel National Forest which contains 19 of the state's 54 fourteeners.

In the warmer months go white water rafting, zip lining, fly fishing on one of the many lakes, rivers or creeks. Try kayaking, bicycling, horseback riding, hiking, or 4-wheeling on the many scenic trails. The winter brings fantastic skiing or snowboarding at Monarch Ski Resort - just 40 minutes away. Take a sled ride at monarch dog sled rides.com, snowshoe or soak in Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, no matter which season it is it is always fun and/or relaxing, your choice. You can fish in the Arkansas River just down the road. Hike the Colorado Trail, Browns Canyon or Agnes Valles Falls, there are several trails nearby. St. Elmo, a historic Ghost Town, is just a few miles west of the property, the kids will love feeding the chipmunks or watching the hummingbirds feed from the well-stocked feeders!
